URL: https://console.cloud.google.com/compute/instances

Browser / Version: Firefox 60.0
Operating System: Linux
Tested Another Browser: Yes

Problem type: Something else
Description: Copying a windows password also copies surrounding space
Steps to Reproduce:

  • Login into google cloud console (registration is free) at https://console.cloud.google.com
  • Create a windows instance
  • Change the windows password (https://cloud.google.com/compute/docs/instances/windows/creating-passwords-for-windows-instances)
  • When the popup with the new password shows, double click on the password and hit Ctrl-C or use the "copy" button to copy the password.
  • Paste the password somewhere.

The password has an extra space in the beginning and one extra space in the end of the password string. These are not part of the password.

Tested on Chrome, it works as intended.
