Browser / Version: Firefox 66.0
Operating System: Linux
Tested Another Browser: Yes
Problem type: Something else
Description: After touching my screen, refreshing the page persists the mouse cursor in the area I last touched
Steps to Reproduce:
- Navigate to page
- Observe that button 1 is a light blue
- hover over the button
- observe that the button darkens
- touch button 1
- observe that the button is darker still
- use ctrl + r to refresh the page (do not touch the screen or trackpad first)
- observe that the button one color is the same as in step 4 above.
Expected result is that the mouse cursor that is triggering the hover event on button 1 should not trigger.
Reported on https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/ahe7ow/firefox_still_seems_to_react_to_an_invisible/ - I tried to find a general case since it is a webcompat issue.
Works as expected in Chromium and user in thread above reports that it works correctly in Edge.
